Abstract

The study determined the diversity, distribution and composition of woody species in the Faculty of Agriculture, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State. Using a systematic sampling technique for plots demarcation, a line transect was laid in the study area. Equal size of 30 × 30 m were laid in the direction along each transect at 100 m interval in other to have four (4) sampled plots which make up a total area of 360 m2 were covered during the inventory experiment.
